I've just had a Facebook message telling me there won't be much room at the Newbold Comyn Arms tonight, as they have a corporate booking for a quiz night.

I'm not coming tonight so I won't get involved, but perhaps use the comments here on Blogger to organise a change of venue?

The Newbold is closed due to a Traveller camp outside. We are going to try the Drawing Room (next to the Spa Centre).

Things are back to normal at the Newbold Comyn Arms, so let's play games there tonight.

Not sure I'll make it tonight (John H) -- someone who is, please check with them about how Christmas might impact us. In previous years we've found space to play games right up to Christmas, even though they have parties going on.

Pete has suggested that we meet at the Cask & Bottle on Lansdowne Street at the usual time: 20:00.

I've checked with the Newbold Comyn Arms, and the reason they were closed last week was that they were getting refurbished. Everything is back to normal now and "looking beautiful".

So, it's board gaming there at 8pm.

I for one, am hoping for plentiful neon, and padded booths modelled after American cars.
