I was feeling excited about the World Cup until I drew Serbia in the office sweep - I might bring the World Cup Game anyway to celebrate the tournament starting.

I will also  bring some club games and one of my Expo purchases - Pocket Mars - for some more quick but crunchy fun developing colonies on the red planet.

BoardSilly Games Club meet at the Newbold Comyn Arms from 8:00 to play board, dice and card games.

A few of us enjoyed the UK Games Expo last weekend and no doubt have some new games to play, having read the rules so we can explain them to others who might be interested in playing.

BoardSilly Tonight - Thursday 24th May 2018

BoardSilly Games Club meet tonight at the Newbold Comyn Arms from 8:00.

We have a visitor from a board games Facebook group tonight so be on your best behaviour :P

Come along and have fun playing board games, card games, dice games and (occasionally) dexterity / skill based games, from a selection owned by the club or brought to the pub by you and other people who turn up.

We usually play "Euro games" that don't have player elimination as a game mechanism, so all players  are involved throughout, and you aren't twiddling your thumbs waiting for everyone else to finish.

We welcome new people who would like to play games and we explain how each game works for those who have not played before or not played recently and want a rules refresher. 

Bring some games (optional), money for drinks and 50p subs (unless it's your first visit).
