As treasurer I spent the weekend playing games with my kids and not buying new games so I didn't pick anything up. As always, if you have an idea for me to pick up let me know.
Please go and vote before you come along too. The rest of us will be annoyed if you haven't bothered.
See you later,
Gary B

Everyone welcome.

I fancy Deus or that Cthulhu Kingsburg adaptation but I will bring a few more games in case they don't turn up.
Tonight is the last chance to suggest games to buy at the UK Games Expo this weekend, when our treasurer wanders round with the kitty...

Privately Owned Railroad Games at BoardSilly Games Club Tonight - 11/05/2017
BoardSilly Games Club meets tonight at the Newbold Comyn Arms from 8:00.
To celebrate the possibility of a renationalised train service I would like to Bring Along 1830 to show the dangers of private ownership of train companies. Sadly I am not available tonight and 1830 would take too long to finish before last orders.
However, you can bring along other games (train related or not), money for drinks and 50p subs.
See you next week,
John E

Vote against the evil empire for Star Wars Day at BoardSilly Tonight
May the fourth be with you
Don't forget to vote before you come to the pub tonight. In the interest of neutrality I can't suggest who you vote for, so I won't LABOUR the point.
Speaking of being against an evil empire, I'm bringing a Star Wars Dice game to BoardSilly.
I will also bring Democrazy and Quo Vadis - my usual election themed games. I may also bring Kremlin but I have not played it for a while. Anyone got Junta?
Sadly we won't have time for Die Macher, but it is very good - perhaps a games session at a weekend is in order.
Anyway, come to the Newbold Comyn Arms for 8:00. Bring games, bring money for drinks & political bribes & 50p for subs (not the nuclear kind). Anyone got Supremacy?

BoardSilly Games Club tonight
With less than two hours to go until BoardSilly Games Club (meeting tonight at eight at the Newbold Comyn Arms) the big question on everybody's mind / lips / social media timeline is...
Will I win a game tonight?
You have to be in it to win it - so come on down with games, money for drinks, 50p subs, and of course, a winning smile.
See you there soon,
John E

Playing for high steaks at BoardSilly tonight
BoardSilly Games Club meets at the Newbold Comyn Arms from 8pm tonight.
Bring games, enthusiasm, money for drinks and 50p subs (unless you are a first time visitor, in which case it is free).
I am fending for myself tonight so I will be there from 7pm for a steak dinner before the games begin.
Ray was after the club copy of the Lords of Waterdeep to take to the UK Games Expo for their tournament, so can whoever has that please bring it back and give it to Ray. You might also play a game as practice for the tournament...
