It's on. I might be a no-show, it's not certain.
If I come, I'm bringing Jacob Marley Esquire, because Stuart needs to see its economy model.
We play:
Settlers of Catan - Puerto Rico - Agricola - Condottiere - Ticket to Ride - Citadels - Torres - Shadows over Camelot - Race for the Galaxy - Formula De - Seven Wonders .. that kind of thing.
The club owns lots of games, and our members bring even more.
We meet:
Every Thursday - 8pm - Oak House Sports and Social Club, Leamington Spa
We welcome:
Everyone
We charge:
Nothing! But if you do become a regular you will need to join the Social Club

Board games or romance tonight?
I'm not sure about tonight -- I know the Newbold Comyn Arms is doing a special Valentine's Day menu tonight -- did anyone think to ask last week whether they had many bookings?
That said, it'd be a miserable couple who let a bunch of people playing Tigris and Euphrates in the corner spoil their romantic meal...
I probably won't make it tonight, but reply to this on the mailing list if you will do.

New Club Games?
I was in Cardiff on Saturday so popped in to Rules of Play in the Castle Arcade
http://rulescardiff.wordpr\ess.com/
I bought a few games for myself and saw a few for the club:
- 7 Wonders Cities - £20 - http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/111661/7-wonders-cities
The latest expansion to a club favourite.
- Gonzaga - £40 - http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/57163/gonzaga
Lay plastic multi-hex cities on a map of Europe - Looks very good & ticks my Tactics / Spatial Awareness / Hex Map of Europe boxes.
- Tempus - £15 - http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/17161/tempus (the Pro Ludo edition)
£15 for a Martin Wallace game? Bargain.
I did text Gary on the day to check that I would not empty the kitty but they are all still in the shrink wrap in case anyone has any objections to them as club games. In which case, my brother might be getting a surprise present on his birthday later this month.
See you tomorrow with the new shinys.
